Here is a free advertisement for 51st State Tavern, right in down town DC.

The bar claims to be a NYS bar and it more than lived up to the claim. I Went there last night for the Jets game with three other J-E-T-S fans, and although our team didn’t pull it out, the atmosphere was off the charts!

Everyone knows that at the stadium the Jets chants are lead by the beloved Jets Fireman, but this tavern also had chant chief….we scored three touchdowns and on three occasions the place blew up with J-E-T-S chants. I felt like I was in Queens.

Great wings and solid beer variety on tap to boot.
