Bill-O seems to be HOT and Bothered….
This doesn’t seem to be some sort of passing fad. For months now, several voices on the right have ratcheted up their right wing crank programing. Among them is former Head Line News demagogue Glenn Beck. For a long time I simply found the guy amusing, mixing populist economics with right wing brand of “common sense.” But over the last six to eight months, as Beck has become a new fixture on Fox News and Since W went back to Texas, things have begun to change….
As Beck’s hallucinations have grown more extreme, an old school veteran has begun to look like a moderate compared to the new brand of right wingers.
Bill O’Reilly has managed to sustain his position as FOX News’s highest rated talk show host, but Beck is closing in and based on this exchange, it seems that O’Reilly is closely keeping an eye on his rear view mirror.
